From the Country Music Capital of the Potomac Highlands, the historic Country Store Opry performs Nashville-style country and western music since 1967.

If you enjoy classic country music with story lines and melodies of singer-songwriters such as George Jones, Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard or Loretta Lynn, attending a performance of the Country Store Opry is guaranteed to be an outstanding evening of entertainment for the whole family.

In fall 2009 they were featured on the Wheeling Jamboree.

Generally the Country Store Opry was presented in Moorefield at the McCoy Theatre alternating with The Pendleton County High School Auditorium in Franklin, WV. Now they head north several times a year and perform at The Bottling Works in Romney, WV.

As of 2011, the members of the group (left to right) are Grey Cassell, Willie Fincham,Carolyn Simmons, Harold Cupp, Tammy Western, Danny Kendrick, Wendell Nelson.
