The Bottling Works, in conjunction with it's partner organization, The Hampshire County Arts Council, has featured an impressive line-up of performers in its brief history, from blues great, Guy Davis, to Ireland's Croabh Rua, to Christine Lavin, to Canada's great Quebecois trio, Genticorum, as well as a wonderful assortment of singer/songwriters, and terrific performers like Acoustic Eidolon, Johnny Staats, Jay Ungar and Molly Mason, Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas, and Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion!  We aim for an interesting variety to suit different tastes, from blues to bluegrass, country to celtic, acoustic to zydeco... The Loy Foundation books performers in The Bottling Works, often on a shared gate basis (admission fees usually $7-12), generally Friday or Saturday evenings, rarely two nights in a row. In addition to other activities in our facility, like wedding receptions, we take into consideration events in our community, like home high school ball games and local non-profits' events, or performances elsewhere in the community and try not to schedule against them. Watch the calendar on this website or E-mail for information. Arts Council bookings are done by the concert chair. Most are organized around the annual WV Arts grant cycle, (deadline March 1st for the fiscal year starting the following July through June), therefore Arts Council events have now been lined up through June 2009.  To be considered for the Arts Council's 2009/10 season, get in touch by January 2009 via
